Photos: Dazzling New Year's Celebrations In Boston And Around The World

Here in Boston and around the world, people celebrated the start of 2014 this week. In Australia, Brazil and the United Arab Emirates fireworks lit the sky. In Japan and South Korea, Buddhists gathered for prayer. And in India, a boy burned an effigy of an old man to mark a break with the past. (Click on any photo to enlarge.)
