Miss Newport Folk Festival? NPR Has You Covered

BOSTON — Again, I didn’t make it to the Newport Folk Festival.

And so again, I’ll spend this workweek in headphones, listening to what I missed, thanks to NPR Music. (I’m bobbing my head to the 56-minute Band Of Horses set right now.)

The 55th iteration of the iconic music festival happened this past weekend in Rhode Island, and NPR Music, as it does every year, is posting audio and photos. You can find it all here.

This year’s performers included Mavis Staples, Ryan Adams (in the photo above), Nickel Creek and Shovels & Rope (below).
